A pair of wall mounted uplighters possibly by Translandia (Denmark) and very much in the style of Hans-Agne Jakobsson. Each shade is made up of concentric strips of pine veneer which can be adjusted to achieve the desired shape and/or lighting direction.
The lamps, each of which has been rewired, are operated by an in-line switch and are fully functional. One of the lamps is in excellent condition and the other has a small piece missing from the smaller of the veneer strips as shown in the images.
