Folding Magazine Rack
Folding Magazine Rack
Often attributed to Cees Braakman (a Dutch furniture designer/maker) or Niko Kralj (an architect/designer from the former Yugoslavia) and/or made by Pastoe, Stol Kamnik, Nasco or Nevco - take your pick - this magazine rack dates from the 1950s/60s and consists of a folding beech frame with a cut-out ply panel to one side and wooden dowels to the other.
Stamped “Made in Yugoslavia” to the underside, this piece is in very good vintage condition with one of the dowels (second from the top) slightly bowed/warped as shown in the images.
