Maclamp by Terence Conran for Habitat
Maclamp by Terence Conran for Habitat
Designed by British designer Terence Conran and manufactured by The Maclamp Company Ltd for Habitat in the 1960s, this early Maclamp has a swivelling, solid beech frame which is fully adjustable using the original wing nuts. The metal base and shade retain the original lacquered finish in forest green. The switched lamp holder has an aged brass finish which is complemented with gold coloured flex.
The shade is in very good vintage condition with minimal surface wear. The base has a few small dings and doesn’t quite align with/cover the weighted base to the underside as shown in the photos. The lamp itself is fully functional and in working order.
